Updated guideline for health personnel on novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

The guidelines describe how the Danish Health Authorities and the health system should handle novel coronavirus and how the patient should be handled by doctors and in the hospital.

The updated guidelines contain new information on when a person should be considered at risk for infection with novel coronavirus.

”We update the guidelines because the situation has evolved and the new information in the updated guidelines is in line with the recommendations from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC)”, explains Søren Brostrøm, Director General of the Danish Health Authorities.

The guideline was first published and distributed to relevant health personnel on January 23rd 2020.

The updated guidelines will now be distributed to health personnel, relevant medical departments and other relevant parties in the Danish health system.

The guidelines are only available in Danish.
