If you are 65 years of age or older, the Danish Health Authority recommends that you get vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19. You will receive an invitation during September and can then book and appointment for free vaccination between 1 October and 20 December.
The national seasonal vaccination programme against influenza and COVID-19 begins on 1 October 2026.
If you have a chronic illness or a specific medical condition that increases your risk of severe illness from influenza or COVID-19, the Danish Health Authority recommends that you get vaccinated, regardless of your age. From the end of September, you can bookn an appointment for free vaccination between 1 October and 20 December.
