On having symptoms, test positive or being a close contact

The most important way of preventing the spread of infection with novel coronavirus is to self-isolate and be tested if you have symptoms, or there is a chance that you have become infected.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive or are the close contact of someone who has tested positive for novel coronavirus, you should:

  1. Self-isolate
  2. Pay particular attention to hygiene and cleaning
  3. Get tested for novel coronavirus

If you have tested positive for novel coronavirus, you will be contacted by someone from Coronaopsporing (Corona Tracking) under the Danish Patient Safety Authority. You can also call Coronaopsporing on tel. 32 32 05 11, for example if you need help identifying who your close contacts are or informing those you have been in close contact with, and whom you may have infected.

If you have been close to a person infected with novel coronavirus and need advice, you can call tel. 70 20 02 33 and dial 2.
