Resumé: Sundhedstyrelsen har i samarbejde med et tværfagligt udvalg udarbejdet en handlingsplan til forebyggelse af selvmordsforsøg og selvmord i Danmark. Handlingsplanen er baseret på en statusbeskrivelse over selvmordsadfærd og årsager, forebyggelses- og behandlingstiltag i Danmark samt anbefalinger inden for temaerne: specifik forebyggelse, forebyggelse af særlige risikofaktorer og risikogrupper, generel forebyggelse, uddannelse, data-indsamling og forskning. Endvidere stilles der forslag til, hvorledes handlingsplanens anbefalinger kan implementeres på centralt såvel som amtsligt og kommunalt niveau.
Summary in English: eng: In cooperation with a professional commitee The National Board of Health has published a National programme for prevention of suicide and suicide attempts. The actionplan is based upon a status over sucidal behaviour and causes, national iniatives and recomandations for the following themes: Specific Prevention, Prevention aimed at specific risk factors and groups at risk, General Prevention, Education, Statistics and Research. Further the committee suggests that the recomandations are implemented over a 5-year period, that the task is delt with by means of cooperation between the state, county and local communities, and that there is appointed a national coordinating governing body being responsible for the implemantion of the action plan.
